Description

A Painted Bunting at Okeeheelee State Park southwest of Palm Beach. It is easy to find these birds at the feeders at the Nature Center here. Painted Buntings are rather common in Florida in the winter, but a continuing threat is trappers who capture the birds for the cage bird trade.
