A Scarlet Minivet at the Trashi Gatshel Lodge

A balcony at this lodge proved to be an outstanding spot to view a variety of birds. One was this minivet that my guide heard first, but was in deep cover. After trying to make photographs in came out on an open branch and posed for me. This bird looks a lot like an oriole of the Western Hemisphere.
