Caribou, Denali National Park, Alaska

Caribou numbers have recently decreased in Denali, but I found this magnificent bull with three others bedded down in dwarf birch along the park road. They were habituated sufficiently that I could work them without causing alarm. They had probably seen ten thousand other people with cameras during their lifetime!.
