Gentoo Penguins at Stromness Whaling Station

We made a landing at Stromness, an old whaling station that is now closed to the public.
It was at this location that Shackleton first made contact with civilization after his historic sail from Elephant Island and then heroic night crossing of the island. This small group of Gentoo Penguins were marching with authority to their nesting colony about a kilometer inland!
