Orange-cheeked Parrot, Napo Wildlife Center

Each morning hundreds of Cobalt-winged Parakeets fly in to drink from a mineral spring close to the Napo River. They are accompanied by small numbers of Orange-cheeked Parrots. All fly nearly directly at the viewing area. The parrots present a vivid display of color when photographed at low speed.
