Description
Blue-necked Tanager, Huacamayos Ridge
When we visited a small ranger station at this location, it started raining fairly hard, so we took shelter under a corrugated iron roof. Shortly I watched many tanagers, thrushes and other birds coming to feed in a small, fruiting tree nearby. For the next hour, I was able to make excellent photos of many species. The rain did not seem to bother the birds.
