Scarlet Macaw, Napo Wildlife Center

Every day hundreds of parrots and parakeets come to a clay lick along the Napo River and many also visit a spring in the same area to drink natural mineral water. I waited four hours at the spring for this macaw to come down from tree tops to drink.
