Chestnut and Black Eagle, near Intag

The eagles had apparently nested at the same location or nearby for many years. The young bird, below, is nearly ready to fly after months in the nest. We sat at an overlook, high up a hill, watching the next for an entire eight hour day. The parents returned only three times during that space of time.
