This magnificent male was the head of a moderate sized pride of lionesses that had stayed on the Massai Mara after the great herds of wildebeests and zebras had migrated down into Tanzania for North America's winter months. There is still plenty of game around to sustain the pride until the herds return. This image is a favorite with customers.
