Old Grounded ship at Ocean Harbor

We made an unplanned stop at Ocean Harbor when we were unable to land zodiacs at another location. It was a rainy, unpleasant day, but it did afford looks at the old supply ship Bayard that broke its moorings and went aground in June 1911. It has remained where it grounded for over a hundred years and shags now nest on its main deck. Weathered whale bones are in the foreground of this image.
