Trumpeter Swans, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Germfask, Michigan

Efforts have been underway since the early nineties to reintroduce Trumpeter Swans into the Great Lakes region. One of the most successful projects has been at Seney NWR, where over 200 swans are now residents most of the year. They have bred here since 1993.
