Description

This pair of Barrow’s Goldeneye were going through mating rituals, swimming around in a swampy pond alongside the road to Cody. This species has a very limited breeding area in the Lower 48 and Yellowstone is a prime area. They nest in tree cavities adjacent to ponds.
