Description

A Lesser Prairie Chicken displaying on a lek at the Cimarron National Grasslands in far southwest Kansas near Elkhart. The Lesser is a bird of the short grass prairie and has a far more restricted range than its much more common cousin, the Greater Prairie Chicken.
