Description

A friend and I found this Pronghorn resting in the middle of an open field. I wanted photographs and carefully stalked the animal, trying to keep rocks or small trees between him and me. Finally, I got quite close and made a complete circle around him, taking photos from every angle. I concluded that he was sick or injured. Later as we watched from some distance, another Pronghorn emerged from the woods into the field. The first Pronghorn jumped to its feed and took off on a dead run, chasing the second animal out of sight. So much for my conclusion!
