Cape Buffalo and Yellow-billed Oxpeckers, Maasai Mara National Park

Arguably the most dangerous animal in Africa, the huge Cape Buffalo sometimes rams tourist vehicles he believes have 'invaded' his territory. Guides watch them carefully when tourists are photographing. This one, however, was just peacefully chewing its cud as oxpeckers worked over its snout looking for ticks and other morsels.
