Dall Sheep, Denali National Park

Dall Sheep are pure white during all seasons, making them difficult to see in winter, but standing out when the snow melts. Nonetheless, they have few predators because of the steep, rocky mountainsides where they usually reside. This young animal was testing the air for danger, alongside the park road in Denali.
