Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial

The FDR Memorial is one of the newest in Washington, completed in 1997. It is located along the south edge of the Tidal Basin, and is actually a series of statues and other features, including a waterfall. Compelling in all seasons, it is perhaps most attractive in spring with the adjacent cherry trees blooming.
