Description

An adult Key Deer licks a female on Big Pine Key. Unlike bucks of the nominate White-tailed species, bucks of this sub-species seldom reach a weight of 75 pounds. Females are even smaller. They are so habituated to people they regularly wander through suburban yards and show little fear when people approach.
