An alternate (breeding) plumage Bay-breasted Warbler at Magee Marsh in northwest Ohio. This state operated refuge borders Lake Erie and causes birds to pause until conditions are right before attempting a lake crossing. Magee is one of the premier spots in all of North America to view nootropic migrants and attracts birders from all over the country…in droves!
