One of the very few herbivores that can survive the brutal winters of the arctic, the Musk Ox migrates only fifty or fewer miles from summer range to winter. In mating season, the dominant male drives lesser males from the herd and mates with each ready female. This was a male living alone in the summer. Note all the mosquitoes.
