Description

Grey Partridge were introduced to the US from Europe in the 1800’s. They have thrived in the northern plains, but are very elusive to spot, much less photograph most of the year. They typically run through grass and disappear. In the winter, however, small coveys of the species wander around Fargo, ND, in the suburbs and are easy to photograph…if one stays in the vehicle!
