Layap Lady at Punakha Dzong

The Layap people, a distinct ethnic group, live in far northwest Bhutan in the town of Laya, Gasa District. This town is at 12,500 feet elevation and is reachable only by a three day trek or horseback. It is almost at the border with Tibet. This lady and another Layap were sitting at a railing at the Dzong selling their little cone hats.
